MSFNA - Mirambika School for New Age, an Auroschool managed by Sri Aurobindo Complex Trust (SACT), is a part of Sri Aurobindo Complex. Sri Aurobindo Complex at J P Nagar was established in 1985, on the exemplary model of Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry. One of the main objects of SACT is to develop Sri Aurobindo Complex into a State Training Centre in Integral Education.
Sri S V Sabnis fondly addressed as Shreeji, who was also instrumental in the formation of SACT and also its Managing Trustee, founded “Mirambika School For New Age” in 1989. As Founder Chairman (1989-2006), he ensured that the School evolved integrally and stood firm on the foundation of Integral Education based on the teachings of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother.
The change of guard took place in November 2006 with Dr. Ajit Sabnis as the Managing Trustee of Sri Aurobindo Complex Trust and also as the Chairman of “Mirambika School for New Age (MSFNA)”. Dr. Ajit Sabnis, a post graduate from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras is also, the Chairman of Sri Aurobindo Society State Committee Karnataka, Member Executive Committee of Sri Aurobindo Society, Pondicherry.
The Chairman, the Administrator, the Principal and members of the School Management are committed to infuse the principle of Integral Education in the regular CBSE curriculum and make teaching and learning a unique and joyful experience. The school management is continuously guided by the Board of Trustees. With teacher to student ratio not exceeding 1:20, each child gets individual attention, mass education becomes class education.
